PETA ad too sexy for the Super Bowl!

Hello.

So, PETA's ad for the Super Bowl has been rejected because it is 'too sexy.'

I find this to be interesting for a couple of reasons:

The good:
-it's narrow view of 'sexy'. The actors in the ad are all skinny women.

The bad:
-It was canceled because it was deemed 'too sexy'.

I understand that the Super Bowl is a time when people of all ages watch the television, and perhaps this is a good reason that the ad should be aired.

Instead of sex being something that is hidden and awkward, this could be a moment for families to talk about why sex is this way.

I mean, I think that leaving the teaching of what sex is purely to the dryness of sex ed classes and risky experimentation isn't really working to make the U.S. a safer place to be the sexual beings that we are....i.e. the STD epidemic, unwanted pregnancies, sex for social acceptance, etc.
